talked to rc about this - sh bought the lunches for the pilots since the fa's had their own plans. bs was there and i didnt see him ask any fa's to leave and there were more fa's than pilots in our lounge. rc was not happy cause they ran out before most pilots could get them. i got mine.

So this pretty much clinches it. You people will complain about ANYTHING!

What this shows is once again how out of touch management is with it's workforce. Since the changes of June 1st ASA is made up of pilots, flight attendants, maintainence, dispatchers and a few support personel. It just doesn't show much appreciation when most of your work force is out WORKING and you offer a few free meals back at the ranch for those few that may be there and be quick enough to take advantage. (as a suggestion, a voucher would have been more equatible)

I was there yesterday, and FAs were taking the box lunches something like a 3-1 FA to pilot ratio. One FA took THREE because she was on a 4 day! The FAs had their own deal going on (chik-fil-a & donuts). Tough that many of our pilots didn't get a sandwhich. I agree, next time give vouchers out and that'll work much better.
