not the a/c in question but I use the Telex 850 in Citation's (550), with such a huge windshield its not bad at all, I'm very satisfied with them, and no, the mic does not need to be hot for the ANR to work. Excellent headsets. Small, lightweight, blocks out enough wind noise for me.

My vote

Telex 850's! Love them! Well worth the $

They work verry well woth my iPod too. = )

Any recommendations for a headset in a RJ, that has a music input and is light?
Right now using David Clarks that I've had since 1995.
Lightspeed look nice, but a little pricey.

anyone tried that new DC-X11?

Yes, sending them back this weekend. The WORST headset I have EVER used! There is practically no ANR and the sound quality is horrible. I'll write up a full review and put it on my site if youre interested!

A total waste of $750.00!!

How does the ipod work with the Telex 850? There a plugin for it? From what I've read its not a great headset for an Embraer plane.
