No doubt. When the batteries in my DC 20-10XLs die (I love the WAH WAH WAH sound as they meet their maker), the Beech 1900 cockpit becomes a terrible place. Consider this a public apology to my FOs for the subsequent profanity and ill temper.
 
I have the Lightspeed QFRs, which are very comfortable and have decent ANR. The cost a bit less than DC, but you get what you pay for: I've had to send mine back to the factory at least 5 times to get them fixed. Similar stories from other guys with Lightspeed.
 
Another bonus... The Bose X's, I got almost 70 hours on two AA's. Very cheap to operate. Much cheaper than the 9V's my old DC's would burn through...
