Gang, please stop the "why are you paying for your type......" question.

I'm just doing a little research for a company to save a little $. Thats all, ok?

Anyway thanks for all of the input its been very helpful.

Well, it is a legit concern for many people making a living flying private jets. Considering that 800XP aircraft charter for anywhere from $2700-$3300 per hour, and that a moderately busy Hawker can fly 400 hours in a year, about $1.2 million in revenue, a 7 or 10 thousand dollar difference in training costs is much less important than the quality of that training.

But if someone is trying to break into the business by subsidizing a company's training budget by paying for their own type...it can be a sore spot for some.

My 2 Cents

Go to Simuflite....

1. Do the 700 course which is much cheaper than 800 course......

2. Then do the 800 / 800XP differences..... 3 or 4 hours....

3. Your Done...

Of coures you don't get the glass time this way, but if it is money your looking to save and you like the quality of Simuflite -- this is a pretty good option.
