Mele Kelekemaka! (Unless the indigenous polynesian/pacific islanders are offended by a haole using their native term!)

Festivus is every bit as legit as kwanzaa. Can't believe anyone fell for this con job.
What is kwanzaa?
My kid had to sing a song about it at school.
Does it have something to do with money?
I don't remember celebrating this "holiday" growing up.

Kwanzaa was founded in 1966 by the leader of the black nationalist United Slaves organization, Ron Karenga. Originally he called for the black man to shun Christmas as it was a white mans religion and called Jesus psychotic.

Karenga is a real piece of work as well. A convicted felon who spent years in prison for assult and false imprisonment for the torture of two women who worked for him. At one point he was a hardcore Marxist and called for the violent overthrow of the US government.

The Kwanzaa information center says that that the official colors of Kwanzaa are red, black and green. Red is on the top because: "red, or the blood, stands as the top of all things. We lost our land through blood; and we cannot gain it except through blood. We must redeem our lives through the blood. Without the shedding of blood there can be no redemption of this race."

There is a lot more to this as well, but I am not going to post it all here. I did some research on it after my kids sang a Kwanzaa song at their holiday concert. One could argue that what Kwanzaa means to most people who celebrate it these days has nothing to do with why it was founded and its original intent, so it's not so bad. But its origins and the intent behind it are pretty shocking.

Google it and you will read in amazement............wtf. But kids can not have Christmas parties or plays in school in this state because of bullsh*t political correctness.
Time to take America back.
