I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this but here goes.... I am on a rather long list (3 years) to get hangar space at my local airport. I have a friend of mine who's on the top of that list (many years ahead of me.) He is not really ready to buy an airplane yet, but I am so I suggested we form a partnership in order to occupy a hanger. I have been told by the airport authority that both partners need to be named on the aircraft registration. I'm looking for a little direction on how to structure this thing legally. I will be the sole owner of the aircraft however we will both be on the registration. (At least that's how I envisioned this.) Any (constructive) information would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

Probably best to consult a GA aviation attorney. I use Scott Williams, Esq. out in California. He can help you think through structuring the ownership / partnership given that you are the 100% economic owner.
