Good news, SAAB is an automaker too. It should be easier for Gulfstream to find car parts for their planes now.
I wonder how much the F/O seat will cost now...50K?
Regardless of how many seats or which model it is it will still only hold 30 pax.
FWIW, Pinnacle A models had 33 seats. We flew them that way for 17 years.
Pinnacle operated straight B's. B+ has 34 seats, B has 33, and A has 30
You don't know your history or your aircraft.
I flew the A's with 30 seats, the old Express POS B minuses which had 33 seats, and the current XJ B Plus model which has 34 seats. How many models have you flown? Don't forget, Mesaba operated the largest Saab fleet in the world for a time. When I started in 2005, we were operating all 3 models. I think I know the plane a little better than you think. I can draw an HMU in my sleep...how about you?
You flew Mesaba Saabs. Like any other aircraft, they can be configured differently depending on the operators choices. In addition to a common interior configuartion of 33 seats, Pinnacle Saabs (both As and Bs) had the lav in the back, behind row 11. Does that surprise you?
I'm sure you know every last Mesaba tailed Saab like the back of your hand but its a big world out there and different airlines do things different ways.
Research may not be your thing but take a look at this:

A model only has 10 rows. And yes, I know the lavs are in the back.
I may be wrong, but I believe the A models are smaller/shorter than the B's. I know the Takeoff weight is 1000 lbs less. They had 11 rows at Pinnacle (and Colgan). All of the models have the same length hull.
Didn't some Saabs have a backwards facing passanger seat also?
