Wouldn't surprise me one bit. Colgan's BOS routes that are EAS must be replaced by another carrier. Gulfstream is a prime candidate.
 
Wow, who would have thought SF340s would be considered 'heavy iron' at any carrier! ;)
 
The article lists the saab as a 30 seater...that's an A-model. Mesaba only operates the B plus. We haven't operated an A model since 2006. Must be getting the airframes from the dusty desert in southern AZ.
 
If the company can sell them all to raise money for growth somewhere else, then go for it, especially if we cant fly them for delta anymore.
 
Colgan used to make f/o's pay for their own type rating.

Regardless of how many seats or which model it is it will still only hold 30 pax. :)

FWIW, Pinnacle A models had 33 seats. We flew them that way for 17 years.

colgan "a" models also had 33 seats. and no, colgan hasnt been pft for a long, long time. Not since United mainline was hiring 250 hr commercial wonders
