I dislike anyone knowing who I am and would never leave a personal email address like that.

You should create a temporary email account and have it "POP" forwarded to your permanent personal account, when/if someone responds (so you need not have to check it separately). This way you have a disposable email with no digital trail or name linking you.

The last thing you want is for someone around here to recognize who you are. Just look around.
