Always open the yogurt pointed at the back of the FO's head, especially if he asks for something other than black coffee :)

Here's some good gouge for after you're done training and in the plane:

Open the darn yogurt away from yourself. I learned that one the hard way, a couple of times.

Looks like you blew a seal...

No, that's just yogurt.

That also applies to coffee creamers.

Congrats to the new hires!

Or if the FO refuses to scoot the seat up while the SO is trying to ride side saddle.

On the creamer issue I usually bring a bag of flavored creamers from AOC for the CA and the SO, makes the coffee easier to chew.

Hint: take a fork or some other sharp object and poke a small hole in the top to release the pressure. Then, it won't spooge all over anyone.

Any FO worth their salt has been in the back seat before and would surely ask for the jug, as they would know not to trust the nefarious intentions of the SO behind them...LOL

I would trade 50% of the F/O's I flew behind for 170 pounds of gas....

p.s. When I need a room I stay in Tunica at the Grand Terrace. $39 a night and a really nice hotel. A bit far though, and the video poker machines are right there.

The Radisson is actually within the airport property and is probably safer than the Hollow Point Inn.

Huck...leave me out and you can have another 215 pounds...

You are the FIRST FedEx pilot I have heard besides a good buddy of mine who actually stays at Tunica. I think the typical "cheap" airline pilot would rather eat a crappy 2 dollar chicken sandwich while hot bunking with 8 guys in cesspool 10 minutes form the airport.

I dig the Grand. Another plus to casino life is you can find food 24/7, which is nice when you work odd hours. Gym is nice too... I have bid day out and backs and stayed for a solid week down there...its a fine second home.

There is no place better to stay than the Radisson, especially when the am departures are using the 18's. You'll never be the same after that night of non-sleep. Notice how there are no pictures on the walls when you walk in the room, should tell you something.
