For the second time in 4 years AirTran has won the "Best Low- Fare Airline" Award presented by Entrepreneur Magazine. Just thought I'd throw some good AirTran news on the top of the forum. JetBlue and Southwest are doing great, but there is another airline out there that is slowing but surely winning the hearts, minds and business of "money/customer service-concious (sp)" travelers.

Cheers!

They won't be if they saw the footage from your last landing

Congratulations AirTran. Well deserved.

Hey, I have only deploy 3 out of 4 PSU's per landing.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm not responding to anything that Les Paul writes. He's been on this board for 7 months, and I don't think he has said one intelligent thing- and I mean not a one.

The only thing he has made clear is that he is a very unhappy person.

This guy claims to be a 767 FO for DAL, yet I have met happier guys flying cancelled checks in a 402. He11, I have met happier guys in the dentist's office getting root canals! I suggested in another string that he get some help from Delta's E.A.P., because it is clear that he needs it.

As Mark Twain said, "Most folks are about as happy as they make their minds up to be", and I guess this clown is living proof.

Over and Out

Les Paul...you truely are a tool. I went to the URL you posted. Every photo, save one, was of a ValueJet aircraft. Every single photo was a decrepit old DC9. Where have you been? Don't you know AirTran wisely got rid of every ex-valuejet aircraft they ever had. Now their fleet is composed entirely of the youngest all-Boeing fleet in the world.

I think I saw one of their tugs break down at MSY. I suppose you'll now start a website dedicated to that. Grow up you idiot.

I don't know many other DL 767 FOs that are that mad at Airtran guys (like Ty and FLB717). I certainly am not. I wonder what Les's deal really is....??? Come on Les--even I like to take a jab at Ty and FLB717 or FL717 every once and awhile, but you are pushing it. Opinions on this board are ok---but constant attacks are not. Take a chill pill......

Bye Bye--General Lee;)

You make one less than perfect landing..

Yuk, Yuk, Yuk - you kill me Sensei! Just because I snapped the tail off the aircraft during the landing doesn't necesarily mean it was a poor landing. I was on speed, on centerline, precisely 1500 feet down the runway (to the foot). Besides, it was 33L at BWI. I leveled the aircraft at 20' HAT and the runway actually came up to meet me. For those who have landed on that runway, surely they could "show an airline brother some love". Actually, we were able to unload the airplane much quicker than normal at the gate - what with the additional rear exit open.

Sensei, I hope you had a good time in eastern NC this weekend and I look forward to flying with you. Thanks for the Brewski.

P.S - For those AirTran haters who would send this to every newspaper in the English speaking world - I should caveat that the above mentioned incident actually never happened and is intended soley (sp) for the purpose of intertainment value to those have a sense of humor.

I will add my congrats, AirTran. You guys do a great job!

Now, how 'bout some gate space in ATL?

Wait...wait...we already tried that. Nevermind.

And I appreciate the rides to work, gang. Thanks..

:)

Good Landing/Great Landing Sensei

Sensei,

A GOOD landing is one you can walk away from, and a GREAT landing you can use the aircraft again!!

Congrats to Air Tran, it shows the hard work everyone is doing there.

Adios:D

Award

Congrats to all the folks at AirTran. Competition makes us all better. Keep up the good work.

Les,
I really wish I could have read that post. It must have been really stupid to get that much air time. But I have now read everything, you said your sorry, sort of. That did surprise me, welcome to the land of men. On a side note I do believe I have figured out who you work for, but I’ll never tell, well not yet. ;)
