I got some good and bad news...should i tell the good news first..or bad news?

Bad news... all vacations up to the 23rd of Dec have been cancelled on the ERJ side....

Good news... Board of directors have asked JO to resign. and or there was a vote of no confidence and he has 30 days to get out.

If true, we need to have a party the day he is ousted.

The only reason they would dump JO is if they found a way to get Lorenzo to take over for him....

Heard the same thing at work today from a Mesa CA on our JS.

I can't keep up anymore!

Please no changes at Mesa

Hey we love Mesa pilots, hired 5 of them into the DC-9 this year, starting at $38K. We love them they are doing a great job. Please don't change Mesa we want the pilots to keep leaving.

starting at $38K.

How many times have you posted this on flightinfo? I take it you use this to try to recruit regional FO's?

I was a regional FO that got hired at NetJets and am starting at $69K base salary to fly a 16,000 lb. aircraft. Is $38K supposed to be impressive starting pay for a DC-9? What is second year pay there and the captain rates?

Not Fair

It is not fair to compare us to NJ. We are in the pay your dues category, a place you come to get the skills to go to NJ. NJ is a career position. Many of our pilots are flying there and love it. So guys if you are not $69K NJ material like RP170 come over to USA Jet and get the skills to make your next move. BTW tell me where else can a 1000TT pilot start at $34K?

asolutely!!

The Military?
Greatest job in the world, but not everyone has what is takes to get a military slot. However if you can not make it into the military and you want to go through a great training program, think about USA Jet. Our pilots who went to Net Jets say their traiing has nothing on what hey got at USA Jet. In fact they said standards and SOP were much better defined at USA Jet.

Pilotyip is on to something. All the other companies have to pay to advertise on FI. He just circumvents that by recruiting directly in all these threads.

USAjet? You guys are the ones that fly those old Falcons right? If so when your pilots would come into PWK while I was working line there all they would do was b!tch about how bad it was at USA jet.

Hey,
We have gone off track here:
Mesa still sucks!
PBR

Yeah, but the ones that pay don't get an immediate rebuttal. I have no problems with people promoting their own airline on these threads, even if they are management. At least you get both sides here, not just the flashing ad.

Anyway, isn't this a Mesa bashing thread?

Mesa Sucks! but didn't usaJet get shut down by the faa for a short while? oh yeah Throw JO down the well!

Pilotyip sounds like the 2.0 of Gary Hillyer over at Flight Express!

Gary has too much style to recruit on the forums. He does post here, though. User name is "johnglenn" I think. Incidently, Flight Express would be an example of a place a pilot could start his career earning 34 grand. More like 42 under the new pay, I think. That would of course require working off the butt.

Why are we arguing about someone trying to recruit from Mesa? The sooner Mesa runs out of pilots, the sooner JO has to start pimping his daughter...

She is pretty hot too! ;)
