Atkin Air was officially liquidated today at Auction. planes parts and everything done gone..northern California lost another business to the rebounding economy

Yep and Yesterday I made my last landing as a Metroliner pilot and the thriving economy caused the military to cancel our 5 year contract to save money...go figure. and doing the job for 22 years is not enuff to keep a contract in effect
 
Atkin Air is not totally out of business. They are still operating a King Air 350, two King Air 90's and a Cessna 303. The flight training department is done, as is the pilot shop and maintenance.
