:eek: Ok someone that works for Gojet has to post your new contract. You guys clamed on flightinfo.com for almost 2 year that you where going to raise the bar or bring up industry. Well let’s see it!

My question is now that your contract in place, as of today. Where is it?

The only thing that I have heard is that you have block or better, 100% line guarantee with something about 98 percent completion factor (how dose this work), a commuter clause. Capt first year pay at 61 hr and fo @ 29 hr. What else? If you guys are so proud of what you have voted for tell the world.
 
I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a girl who knows another girl who's sister blew the DO over there.

Finer points of the contract...
1. Single occupancy hotel rooms on all overnights longer than 30 hours.

2. Block or better, but only if you're under block.

3. Cheddar Cheese Logs for each anniversary of your employment. These will be payroll deducted however.

4. Free recurrent training each year.

5. Fee for each mechanical write up dropped to $25. Payable in cash at the outstations.

6. All company deadheading booked space available.

7. CASS. The fee for which will be payroll deducted (forgot.. you already had that...)

8. Uniform allowance. You will be allowed to wear one.

9. KY clause. You must supply your own.

10. Protection from furlough. Hulie promises to furlough honest, hard working, unionized TSA pilots before you scum sucking dogs...

I'm sure I left a bunch out. Feel free to add.

Wow I am a SkyWester and our $19 first year pay will make us the new hojets.

I've heard first year pay there is well below $29/hr...right around the current median for regionals.
 
How anyone chooses to work there in this buyer's market is beyond my comprehension.
 
I don't care if they get $150 bucks an hour and free BJ's in the crewroom.

The issue behind their company/job is that one group of pilots said, "this isn't right, we won't do it" and these scumbags went a stabbed them in the back.

There is alot of issues in our job that are alittle grey like the rest of the contract carriers or WO's growing while the mainline suffers or a WO stagnating while a contractor airline grows - you get the point. The GJ situation is cut and dry however. While these guys aren't scabs in the traditional sence they are truely scumbags. Why you ask??

Because like I said - A unified group (several hundred) of pilots (Trans States in this case) made a decision that they were not going to work under a set of conditions and these guys came in did the job in the face of that decision. Backstabbing their fellow professional pilots in the process. Pathetic.

Thats one of the funniest things I've seen on here in a while..

Maybe they can get a smaller ID so it will fit in their pocket better while trying to hide who they really work for.

What does their id look like and what does the T.S. id look like? I've never seen either up close.

The Trans States ID badge from a distance looks sky blue, but close up is actually a photo of clouds/sky with the TSA logo and "Trans States Airlines" printed on it. I haven't seen a Go Jet badge up close since they are often turned backwards, but from a distance they look white with dark blue (UAL colors) and actually say "Go Jet" on them. I had a PSA Captain scrutinizing my badge the other day while jumpseating making sure I didn't work for Go Jets. I showed him where my ID said Trans States *Airlines* not TSA Holdings and explained the difference.

The Go Jet badge is a white background with red writing for "CREW" under the pic and expiration date. It says Go Jet in the top left corner in blue. As said above most of these guys try to sneak around by saying they work for Trans States HOLDINGS or United Express.

I hope you considered him scrutinizing your badge to be a compliment.

Yes I did. Although I admit it sort of hurt my feelings that he thought I might actually work at Go Jets. ;) Sort of goes against the myth that Trans States pilots are the only ones who care about it. I would glady buy the Captain a beer anytime. :beer:

Go Jet, glad you guys raised the bar. I still make more second year FO than your five year FO. Way to go.

only major improvements (from TSA) are a coummuter clause, and 100% line gauruntee (dependent on completion factor.) Here's the breakdown from a pilot contract site (http://airlinepilotmentor.com/airlinepilotcontacts.aspx)

Positive Highlights:
Grievance policy, if airline does not follow contract (?!!??)
Commuter Policy, If pilot cannot commute to work

Negative Highlights :
5 1/2 Year Agreement (!!!!)

100% Pay Guarantee only if
Completion factor is above 98%

Only 10 day off minimum
Pay scale limited to 15 year longevity
First Officer Pay Rates inline with 37 seat aircraft
(from airline pilot central: 1=$23, 2=$30, 3=$34, $35)
Captain Pay Rates inline with 50 seat aircraft
(again, apc: 1=$60 2= $61, 3=$63, 4=$65, 5=$66, 10=$77, 15(top)=$90)

No mention of scope.

Way to raise the bar fellas. Especially with the bargaining power swinging heavily in favor of pilots right now. Glad teamsters was able to get you that industry leading contract you knew you deserved.
 
I would love to see how well the grievance policy works- Trans States policy is almost worthless (I know since I haven't seen anything for years on grievances and neither have friends still there who were affected by the same grievances). The same management group will rape GJ at least as bad. I know some of the scum that went over initially to help get it started and bragged about how they were going to get such a great contract left for Skybus. Have fun with that one also, scumbags.

I heard Captain upgrade is only 3 days or so! How is this possible? At ASA I started class on December 2 and typed January 14th (and I was 2nd to last in my class by seniority).
And, yes thank God, I did move on to greeener pastures. Fly safe- Rum

They are vertical.... so you can spot them hanging off a lanyard or clip from even farther away

Planes are easy to spot too..... they have the tail/frame # on the side of the air inlet at the base of the tail (apu duct?)
