Looking for a place to do some training and flying afterward. any in South East Pa. Pottstown area? Can you rent a glider after training?
 
Just check out ssa.org:

click "About Soaring",

then click: "Where to fly"

Click : "continue"

Click on Pennsylvania or New Jersey map picture,

and voila........

My Father flies gliders up in that area. I will ask him about a good place to go, and Ill send you a PM.

As far as renting..... I fly with a club, and it has annual fees, but it is much cheaper than going into a commercial operation and paying all of there fees.

The SSA website will also list clubs
 
Not sure how far you're willing to go, but 2 1/2 - 3 hours north and west from you is Brokenstraw (near Warren, PA and not far from Jamestown, NY). Here is a link to their glider operation. http://www.wingsandwheels.com/Brokenstraw.htm
