Another benefit you received from the East. Min block hours. Without it, where would you be????

Sorry Crzi, the "benefit" of which you speak is the product of a tentative agreement that was negotiated by all three parties (the company, the west ALPA group & the east ALPA group). Both groups have the minimum block hours (I believe).

So you ask "where would you be?".....Well we might have shrunk, we might have grown, we might have capsized, heck we might have blown! What is FACT is that AWA was making money, growing, hiring, & upgrading in May 2005. Here is another FACT: AAA was in Chapter 11 bankruptcy. You were down-sizing, downgrading & furloughing. In that general direction....there is only a few more steps to the way of oblivion.

Here's the deal: We could guess & speculate until the cows come home. USAPA is doing much like our nation's government....spending us into a HOLE. The only achievement that they can tout is DELAY. NO CONTRACT. NO SNAP BACK. NO DATE OF HIRE LIST. MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN LITIGATION. HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS IN LOST WAGES, BENEFITS AND TIME OFF (NEVER TO BE RECOVERED). The law will finally determine the outcome. I really don't wonder which way the law will ultimately deliver a decision. It is just a matter of time.
