Well actually I think the most Jr. folks are on the MD-11, so if there were furloughs lots of re-training. Personally I'm not as bothered by the 3% as I am by the changes in the other sections..ie Increase in insurance co-pay, Sect.24 giving D.O. authority over WHO upgrades (does away with seniority in my opinion), Giving up on the Given month grievance, we may not win it but worth a shot, 4 days of carry in/over. 3% doesn't buy all that, I voted "NO"

Still can't beleive the threat! Sure, GAC will be a 4 aircraft airline.. I am sure all corporate structure is geared towards that. Makes sense, real top heavy etc.. all the maint.. hey make sure the maint. guys and loadmasters know about this as well. yeah, 4 aircraft operation.. I mean really if so broke.. how can we get more aircraft.. I think the above letter from GAC should be put out there for the industry to see. I hope the hell people don't fall for this!!

By the way, is we are status Quo.. then GAC.. has a 3% savings, remember they were putting up 3% more in wages.. hmm if we don't take the 3% then the company will have to dump airplanes.. if we take the "3%" we can grow and all types of lovely things will happen.. ahhh bliss.. does not make sense..

Last night, prior to the beginning the last Road Show, We learned from two sources that Gemini has begun preparation for Section 1113 action in the Bankruptcy Court in the event the Tentative Agreement is not approved. Both the MEC and ALPA’s counsel were told that Gemini feels that it has no alternative but to commence the contract rejection process in light of deadlines it faces in its financing agreements. Your MEC believes that if we fail to ratify this agreement we stand to face section 1113 action in the bankruptcy court.

What's next? Kidnap our parents?
