Well it seems as though we have to stand up to our own MEC. I respectfully disagree with our MEC and Negotiating Committee....

I voted a BIG NO, its a private company and they will always tell us that they are losing money year after year...

If you listen to the Video they say that 3% is all the buisness plan allows. Not that all they can give. They can give more it would have to come out of Managments bonous!!!!!

I am NO until they can give me a decent contract for a proffesional crewmember. If they want to threaten CH7 or CH11.13 then bring it on.

Next time you fly a sceduled duty day thats right at 14 hours and it slips into the 23-24 range. that all you are worth to them is 3%.

next time you are handed a pile of ******************** and expected to make it work! that all you are worth is 3%!!

Now is the time We Make a stand. This is the Line. There isnt going to be a three years. How long did the pay freeze last? Those of us that were hire in the last few years how many lies were we told to get us to take the job.

The negotation were not done in good faith. they are in bad faith. screw this TA and get us something worth voting on.

I am a proffesional treat me like one.

faithfully
Round Motor

I'm just curious...has Gemini had any major changes in management or policy lately? The reason I ask is that I used to work for a company that told us, year after year, that business was tough, profits were down, that we'd have to accept sacrifices in order to "grow" the company. At one of their silly road shows, I stood up and asked why, if everything had been so bad for so long, we hadn't seen any changes upstairs? (Don't worry...I had apps all over town when I asked the question)

That's what sports teams do. They change managers, players, lineups, and anything else they have to change to break a losing streak.

Major corporations do the same thing. Two or three consecutive bad quarters, and you can expect to see some changes at the top.

Politics likewise. Look at how many single-term presidents have resulted from downturns in the economy.

"If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got." With so many different ways of deferring, transferring, and outright hiding profits, that's about the only way you know when a company is really going through some tough times...they "stop doing what they've always done."

What all has changed at Gemini, other than this T/A?
