Oh.. believe me, it's not about the jet (though I'd be lying if I said an MD-11 doesn't have some ramp prestige) for me, I'm a pay/schedule kind of guy in general. But it's about flying cargo, and more over, I like the idea of working for a small airline (pilot pool wise). I really miss the camaraderie that I had with the boys at my last airline job. It was a smallish outfit (then) and the crewroom was the best part of going to work.
Same here. It's hard to adjust to my new job with about 3000 guys and hardly ever flying with the same people. My last gig was like yours. Small, tight nit group of guys that I really enjoyed working with. Oh yeah, I have to admit, I have a bit of HJS as well. I know, it will wear off after 6 months like Fog said.
But so did an RJ.
