Despite assurances by our chief pilot during his recent long recurrent schtick that pilot levels are stable through the end of the year, it appears the company is gearing up for another round of deep layoffs.

A reliable source says the training department has been told to set aside a goodly number of additional slots, and since we're not hiring, that can only mean one thing: beaucoup downgrades.

This source indicated that this round could claim another sixty pilots, but that it would probably be broken up into three waves of twenty. He did not give a timeframe for when these waves would hit.

Also, Waterview is apparently bracing for a visit in mid-August from one of the honchos from Montreal. Who knows what tht means.

So thanks for nothing, Beaner.

What's with the double post... you really wanted to get our attention?

Sorry. I was posting in a hotel with overloaded slow internet from all the pilots streaming porn videos and I thought it didn't go through the first time.

60 more layoffs means everyone needs to worry! I think just by contracts alone we need more than 300 pilots. If that is true I would think Flex is in big financial trouble and the doors would be in danger of closing. Just my 2 cents

This should be interesting.. I've asked before, how many managers does it take to run operations? I'm counting 5. Plus 4+ supervisors It took two to replace the one they let go last year. Are you at all familiar or comfortable with how that place is truly run?
