So, I posted this over on the Regionals forum and I got to thinking...for those of us who are with carriers with aircraft that are ACARS equipped...have you sent/received any ACARS messages that were just classic?

For starters, here's one I got on a reaallllly windy day in DEN.

ITS FREAKIN WINDY OUT HERE
PRETTY SURE WE JUST SAW
WICKED WITCH JUST GO FLYING BY ON
A BICYCLE. DOROTHY AND TOTO
WERE RIGHT BEHIND HER.

Obviously if this guy had a time to type all of that it wasn't that bad. We have a binder full of funny and weird ACARS being sent to dispatch by pilots since beginning of ACARS. It's classic. Every dispatch should have one.

It doesnt take that much effort to write out an ACARS message, even in turbulence. :p

But how about some messages from this book?? I've seeen a few messages during my airline days, but honestly, cant remember them at this point.

The DEN guy had just landed and was waiting for a gate.

I have a collection going of ones sent to me. Agreed that every dispatch office should have a book of the classics.

ACARS?? What's that???

It is that thing that a certian C.P. (think who was in charge of the schedule) would chat with her piolot friends all shift. Good thing we love the black widow!!!
