Rumor around is that Frontier is sold any ideas

Hasn't the 'Frontier is sold' rumor been going around for a couple of years now?

I heard it's supposed to be announced with the A320 delivery on July 20th. Also heard it is Indigo as the investor.

Like Andy was saying, almost every month they say the deal will be done but nothing materializes.

Bill Franke, the head of Indigo Partners, is still Chairman of Spirit. A position he's held since Indigo became majority owner in Spirit back in 2006. I wouldn't rule out a tie-in if Indigo's a majority partner in a Frontier buyout. They'd probably get other vulture capital firms such as Oaktree to join them in a Frontier purchase.

I'm not saying this new rumor isn't true but my favorite was that ponze scheme of "The new Frontier Airlines" with hi-speed train out of NOLA and a new airport....bla bla. The reverent got out of control with that one!
