I would imagine that Flight Options is bleeding pilots right now (ok, maybe a bit dramatic) and that some of those pilots are choosing to jump to other fractionals. Has there always been a good number of pilots jumping from one fractional to another or do ex-fractional pilots tend to leave the frax industry? I am sure NJI has always been a big draw.

For those of you at the various fractionals, are you seeing incoming frax pilots from other companies? Are Flex pilots leaving for CS and vice versa? Is Netjets getting a lot of interest from CS or Flex pilots? What about Avantair - getting much interest from other frax pilots? Do many Netjets pilots leave for the other fractionals?

Just curious because I think that says a lot about a company when people are willing to drop their seniority and start over at the bottom of another frax company...

There are a good number of former Flex and Options pilots at NJA. Don't know of any CS pilots at NJA but there are a couple of former Avantair guys.

Some NJ guys may have gone to CS.

How much is a "good number" in concrete terms? I personally only know of 2-3? And that is not counting the guys that left when Bombardier laid off guys after 911 and in '03. Unfortunately those guys didn't really have a choice. A lot of things have changed since then and the majority of guys leaving are going to the majors or captain slots at private companies.

I know there are more than 3....I merely mentioned that I only know of a handful that chose to leave. The rest didn't really have a choice. Either way, things are looking up at most fractionals with the obviouse exceptions...

If the NJA domicile policy would change, FLOPs would be shut down in a week.

I would bet money on that one. You would win a boat-load of money because that is true. Of course you would still have your Kool-Aid drinkers that would stay, those in the minority though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Avantair lost a bunch of pilots to Netjets in the near future (after enacting their idiotic FO flying rule).

As for the Netjets guys (former Indy pilots) leaving for Skybus, good luck with that one...

Wow. Yeah that sucks. I'd break a training contract over that one. I hope lots of them do. Thanks for the info.

I left Avantair for NJ and have never looked back.
Best move I ever made.
I have had numerous calls from Avantair pilots looking for info.

Hell, everyone that I have bumped into is about ready to leave. And I am talking about over 10 FOs (been there <1year)

Yeah, well, if our recent attrition list is any indication they'll come over here and leave within a year as well.
