Please....you are very naive. AF guy with 20+ in with friends that are basically mgt pilots. Who do you think does the interviews? Is it Joe Blow off the line that surfs FI all the time? Is it a union rep? Or is it people picked by the company?

My friend buddy was a big wig at the union during that time got in tight with the company. I'm sure he can schedule my interview with one of his friends.

WOW, it must be nice to be that well connected! Good luck, hope your gross self importance doesn't come thru in the interview.

Between my interview prep person and my connections, I'm sure I'll come out of an interview with just about everything but a formal offer. I figure, my 20+ in the AF was my interview. I'm told a ton of AF guys get this type of hook up.

One thing we all know is that Tanker Tool has never been "hooked up" except with his own hand:)

The other place where you know a SWA pilot was just there is the workout room. Blaring FOX News through the entire workout room is a sure sign a pilot was just in there. Most hotel guests leave it on other channels, or on CNN. I find that interesting and amusing, from a psychological standpoint. I am pretty centered and like someone said earlier most of us are smart enough to leave that stuff at home...except for some.

I take it the interview didn't go well?

I agree completely and my interview went great! That observation is better than mine!

We are around 92xxx right now. Lowest guy on our list is 917xx

Well that was almost two years ago. Just because we haven't hired any new pilots doesn't mean we haven't hired any new employees. (Terrible turnover for ramp agents, etc.) Who knows what # we're up to...and #100000 probably won't even be a pilot....
