Just a minor caveat about logbooks. I believe if you do not have an ATP that you need to have your logbooks for your MV/LOE.

I guess if you already have your ATP and 2 type ratings then they probably won't need to look at your logbooks when you go for an additional type rating?

I am single with no kids- I am curious how much ($) out of pocket for insurance both for the first 6 months and after the first 6 months?

I know they have a separate insurance plan that is offered for the first 6 months.

I got insurance for my wife and I through Blue Cross and Blue Shield, they have a temporary plan for up to 6 months. You can get a quote in a couple of minutes here: http://www.bcbst.com/health-plans/individual/short-term/

Went to Sam's bought a refrig (nice small/mid size one) used it for almost 59 days, sold it with about three days to go to someone in the next group coming through, and sold it for what I paid for it. Free delivery!
