Why would anyone buy a B717 or a Fokker 100 sized airplane when they can buy an E170/190 and pay the crews half what they would if it said Boeing or Fokker on the side?

If they move forward with this, I hope they leave the marbles in the air conditioning system. I loved hearing them roll aft in the overhead on rotation, and that "WTF" look on passengers faces.

I liked the F100s. It was my first ride on a jet that was "all glass" back in 1991 or so. A few years later, I jumpseated on an AA F100 to from ATL-ORD. Nice jet just a little slow though.
