They only way this plane will make a comeback is if it is mysteriously labeled an "Regional Jet"....

Nu

How much you wanna bet it's called the "Fokker 8" or the "Fokker RJ."

Either would be equally trendy.

Every pilot I spoke to about flying the FK100 loved it. Sure it was underpowered, but evidently it was a smooth ride and fun to fly.

Why would anyone buy a B717 or a Fokker 100 sized airplane when they can buy an E170/190 and pay the crews half what they would if it said Boeing or Fokker on the side?

If they move forward with this, I hope they leave the marbles in the air conditioning system. I loved hearing them roll aft in the overhead on rotation, and that "WTF" look on passengers faces.

I liked the F100s. It was my first ride on a jet that was "all glass" back in 1991 or so. A few years later, I jumpseated on an AA F100 to from ATL-ORD. Nice jet just a little slow though.
