They are cutting costs and revising their schedule. They pulled out of the west coast cities because those flights don't earn enough to pay for gas at current fare levels. Rumor has it that they are courting new investors. Other than that, they are just waiting for fuel prices to continue dropping and hoping that they can survive that long.

My guess is that they couldn't find anyone dumb enough to invest in a high-cost (per seat mile) operation.

apparently there are 17 new airlines pending aproval from the DOT. I find that astounding. People still willing to throw money at one of the worst industries in the western world.
 
I bought some shares of Flyi the other day for 22 cents. If it works out, I'll make some great cash. If not, ohh well... other risks will pay off.
