They don't have to do anything else so I doubt it, the elite delta job has gone by the
wayside, wrong place lucky time.....

"Same company" totally different qual. for pilots of DAL than
ever before.......

Yeah, the old school Delta pilots are far superior to the ones recently hired!

Have these pilots been notified that they will be in class Aug 3? I thought the first class was going to be mostly recall guys. Is Aug 3 the first class? Any recalls care to comment?

An email from the XJ ALPA MEC said that the company has notified ALPA that they intend on holding back all 200 & 900 Captains. I have seen nothing official from the company other than the recent XJ memo regarding the upcoming flow ups. I think the maximum hold back time is 90 days. So it sounds like the XJ flow ups wont be in class until November or December with the exception of a few very senior Saab Captains. Only time will tell how it unfolds.

Anyone have a feel for how many Compass pilots will not be able to flow because they do Not have a four year degree? I think that there are more at Mesaba than most people would guess.

I thought I remember something about other pilots from Mesaba would fill the class seat for those held back and once there hold was up they would then go to class with there old seniority date?

Zero. A 4-year degree is not a requirement per the Compass flow language.

But it is Delta new hire requirement?
http://www.deltajobs.net/pilot_qualifications.htm

Your telling me there going to give you job your not qulaified for??

I dont think so.

No one will be doing any such thing. They have already qualified. That's the agreeement. Delta knows this.

They will flow. There's no further qualification required beyond those outlined in the CBA. As a result, Compass now requires a 4-year degree to be hired there. But those already on the property will flow to the mainline even without the degree.

There were NWA pilots without 4-year degrees as well.
