So why is it when Options has an overrun, it makes the board the very same day (courtesy of an NJA pilot, no less), yet an NJA Sovereign had an overrun in PBI on Sunday and we hear not a peep? Diverted to PBI and overran into the 14 EMAS on landing, anyone know what the issue was?

Looks like the EMAS worked, so thankfully a more benign outcome, but just sayin - doesn't seem fair on the coverage here.

Hey man, it was on the news. It didn't take any deep digging. Perhaps we have better damage control who can hush something fast, I just don't know. Don't try to turn this into a "NJA pilots are awesome and FLOPS pilots suck" thread. That was never even implied.

Lets see ... the flight aware shows filed to Houston from the bahamas ...

A descent shortly after departing ... several orbits in holding near pbi on a vmc day before landing.

LiveATC audio of Palm beach approach you can hear them tell approach control that they got their wheels down.

Why would anyone tell approach they got their wheels down?

I don't know....

So is the 680 plagued with the same A-side HYD issues as the 750? This would fit that scenario.
