I have met a few of my fellow Legacy drivers who work for FLOPS and forget some of your responses as it has been awhile.....

A buddy of mine was asking about FLOPS in general. I told him I was unqualified to answer but would inquire here.

A few basic questions:

1) What is your starting salary?

2) Are you typed in initial training?

3) What is Captain Upgrade looking like?

4) What is the standard equipment assignment for a newhire?

Many thanks in advance.

Legacy,

I don't work there, but I did a phone interview last week and what I was told is in your questions below.

1) What is your starting salary? 34,000/yr

2) Are you typed in initial training? Yes

3) What is Captain Upgrade looking like? 3 to 5 years

4) What is the standard equipment assignment for a newhire? Everyone starts out in the Beechjet/Hawker 400 as an FO

Many thanks in advance.[/QUOTE]

I tried to pass this stuff along to him before. Thanks for proving my point. :) I am sorry you guys are having a hard time. Hopefully things will get better soon.

Thanks again for the info.

Hey Legacy Driver,

What ever happened to you? Where are you working now?

Fracs… Corporate…airline?

Legacy Captain for a Private Owner. Mostly owner missions with some charter stuff here and there. Doing really great. Got everything straightened out and I'm good to go! :) Just bought a new house, kids doing great, life is basically fantastic right now. I am so happy to be out of the Regional world that it defies description. Corporate is definitely the way to go.

Thanks for asking. Hope you are doing fine as well.
