Not everybody who wanted a NJ interview got one...

Both companies have things going for them. I'm sure our pilots will be happy at either company.

I don't think your first statement is accurate. On the 18th NJ was still there interviewing and Flex had packed up and gone home. There were guys scheduled for interviews and walk ins still occurring - seemed like NJ was accomodating everyone they could.

I will agree with your last statement. Both of these companies went out of their way to come interview some folks who need the help. It doesn't look like there will be the IAD base that was talked about by the Flex fols though - too bad.

Flexjet will be hiring alot more than 55 people this year. i think they've hired that many already after this Independence interviews. I bet they hire over 100 this year.

What have you heard about the IAD base thing you mention? I heard if the demand were high enough then it would be an option. Well, the demand was good from what I can tell???

More info please.

I was one of many Indy pilots that interviewed with Flex. I received a call on Friday from Dave and he said the decision was to NOT make IAD a domicile.

True the demand was there but in my opinion Flex had to consider the fact that they could easily hire enough pilots from Indy and elsewhere to meet their needs without opening another domicile.

Why anyone would go to Flexjet is beyond me?
Netjets has a much better package.
Flexjet is desperate to hire anyone.
Also read the fine print Flexjet can and do change the rules at the drop of a hat!

Have you seen that Challenger 300? Nice ride I hear... Of course, not a reason alone to go to Flexjet but it would be nice to fly...

If only Flex could match NJA's package and scheduling (7/7) it could be a really great place to work because it has a great fleet...

Do all of you Flex Jet folks have to live in base? Or can you live where you want and they fly you to work?
