Sorry....If I told you that, I'd have to kill you.

Seriously, it came out of lunch with TC. I have also been told by several of our pilots that M Mc had flown to Montreal 3 or 4 times to meet with daddy about bringing on Globals. I would say that the sources are pretty reliable. Besides, if you look at the growth in aviation, it certainly is not here in the states, it is overseas. It just makes sense.

Wait a minute, that means it won't happen. Never mind my earlier post. :smash:

Rumor has it that Globals are in fact coming. 12 to 24 months away. Also, he (Reid) is supposed to be expanding us into Europe, The Middle East and Asia. Maybe there is going to be a real Flexjet Europe again.

Rumor and Fact do not belong in the same sentence.....

I don't believe anything until the contract is signed and the plane is in the hangar. I don't expect any major changes.

I just remember that he was a HUGE fan of RJs while working for Delta. A HUGE fan. His knickname there was also Fred GREED. Have fun with that.
He also fired the Sr. VP of Flight Ops, that was very pilot friendly and replaced him with a neophyte, ladder climber, that used this position to elevate himself to EVP OPs.

I can't think of a single management type from the airlines who has a good track record.

Wasn't the former president of flexjets from the airline world?

Gordon Bethune, Greg Brenneman, Herb Kelleher, David Neeleman

Herb, check. Gordon and Greg get mixed reviews. They certainly were well compensated, but their crews were amongst the lowest compensated. Neeleman, SSDD. I will give you Herb though!

Edit: I stand corrected about Mike McQuay! I did not think that he got as high as VP before he went overseas. I add him along with Herb.
