Welcome aboard. There are alot of great people here and you are guaranteed to have fun with this group. Like most everyone else has said, you will have plenty of time to prepare during training, especially if you are staying in the old Braniff complex. I would suggest brining a car, because the hotel is fairly isolated.

Another question for the flex guys. I recently recieved my training schedule, and I appear to have about 4 consecutive days off in the middle of training. Question is, is there any chance of traveling home for a few days, or do they expect you to stay in Dallas? Thanks again guys.

you can go home if you want, but that schedule might change so dont make any plans until you clear it with the instructors.
