First AirTran 737....

I think AirTran is a great, but man, who came up with that scheme?? I hate to say it, but its horrible. That blue and green just doesn't go together at all. Engines stand out way too much. Of course, I'm a fan of their current off-white/green livery. Otherwise, I'm glad to see the first Citrus NG.

Didn't AirTran fly 737s before the 717?

Yes they did, they flew 737-200's. Those were the original aircraft of the AirTran fleet. AirTran was bought by Valujet and assumed the name. The 737's were eventually phased out.

I think it would have looked better if they hadn't brought the bottom paint all the way forward.
