Final 717 begins production

I'm still recovering from the MD80 to B717 "differences" course. Three sim periods and a checkride. Hard to believe they are the same type rating.

I felt the exact same way transitioning from the DC9, except I had 6 sim sessions and still didn't feel comfortable till the end of IOE.

I guarantee you'll grow to love it.

And I'm still recovering from the 717 to MD80 differences course! T'was like going from a Porsche to a Model T.

I haven't flown a Boeing yet but I'd bid off the A320 back to the 717 in a heartbeat.
