Heard a good one today on the line. Was launching my trust ole 727 to Guadalajara this afternoon and the maintainer that was launching us said he was going to B747-400 training tomorrow. Hmmm, I wonder if something else is in the works? Also heard from another pilot that he heard CP say something about 747-400's may be in the future. Anyone else hear anything on this?

That's because we are buying Atlas. They have 12 new 74's on order with options for more. That will be our heavy lifter out of the new pilot domicile in Guangzhou, which will be announced shortly.

Oh boy.

This rumor ought to be rich. I like the sound of it, but....hmmmmm. The shaken up seniority list possibilities should really make for some entertaining threads. Oh yeah--the new contract should take care of that messy possibility.
