I guess you don't get involved much with food, medical and energy prices. Food and medical costs have been rising MUCH more than the so called CPI, while energy prices have hardly folloowed the recent fall all in oil prices.

These drivers are not part of the CPI "market basket".

No doubt. The pay doesn't bother me as much as the no improvement to the A-plan. That stings and may be the thing that would actually get 51% of the pilots to cast a NO vote.
