FoxHunter,

So we have learned that you do not know how to read the contract.

Now we know that you do not know how to read the Table Position, 13 October 2005. Looks like some improvement retirement provisions to me. Yes we do not have them yet, but it is ALPA's position that we should have some.

Maybe you should do some reading and become a little wiser old man.

Jan 3/4 interview, was called to update 2 weeks ago. One guy in my group was selected for the May 22 class (current MD11 FO), dont know about the other 2 guys in my group. ---waiting for the call---

Feb 22/23 interview, updated on June 1. It seemed that they were just calling everyone to update so as to remain within the 120 day window, but as I see more postings it seems that not everyone is getting called to update based on interview date? Any thoughts? ...just waiting...

I was told there are only a few people who know the selection process for the MD-11. I had someone trying to break the code but they can't seem to find anything out. Oh well, just have to keep swimming like evrybody else. While I'm in the water, guess I'll go fishing. Later........

Well, I thought I'd put up a post to keep the thread alive...

"Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming."

Early Feb interview, updated drug test and Medical, not "qualified" to be in a MD-11 class.

Don't forget to role over on your back and float when you run out of energy.

I could not be happier to be in the pool. Looking forward to day 1 in MEM.

Talk to a fellow Poolie via email. Early Feb interview also ask to update med, p-test, ect. He was told all the Airbus and MD-11 slots filled. No idea when he would get called for a class.

wmss,
When did your bud hear from/ask HR that the ANC slots were filled? Was it this past week?

Poolies: Looks like MEM from here on out, no?

"Sure, we want to go home. We want this war over with. The quickest way to get it over with is to go get the bastards who started it. The quicker they are whipped, the quicker we can go home. The shortest way home is through Berlin and Tokyo. And when we get to Berlin, I am personally going to shoot that paper hanging son-of-a-b!tch Hitler. Just like I'd shoot a snake!"
- General George S. Patton, Jr
(addressing his troops before Operation Overlord, June 5, 1944)

I think he means they've identified who'll be going to the MD vs the Boeing. From the info on this thread they've only scheduled about 36 guys for MD training so far (8 on 22nd May, 10 on 5th Jun, and 18 on 19th Jun). With 70 or so slots to fill at ANC, I'd guess at least two more MD classes before they start MEM 727 training.

Haven't heard of any calls for a 3 July class, has anyone else? Maybe with 18 guys starting on 19 Jun they'll wait longer between classes?
