KD called today! She offered me the choice of 29 & 30 Nov or 30 & 1 Dec interview- I took the earlier. The first call I made was to Albie to schedule some sim time. I'm so excited!

I know a lot of you are wondering, so here you go:
- Met with ACP in late July
- Met with JL in late Aug
- 8 internal recs and a senior sponsor

Makes me a little less nervous about my Jet Blue interview this week, but I'm still going to listen hard to what they say. I've been really impressed with that company so far. If I'm blessed with the choice, I'm sure it'll be a tough decision.

Calls are going out, so good luck to all those waiting!

Fly,

Congratulations and I am sure you will do fine.

Be humble in your successes. Many on this board have been waiting a long time for the calls you have so quickly received. Your excitement and enthusiasm can come across as gloating to those that are not so fortunate.

Again,

Good Luck.

Chaz

Congratulations!!!:)

You're in a great position and I'm sure you'll make the right decision!! Best of luck to you.

Didn't mean to go there...just happy.
Sorry if I offended.
FC
No need to apologize.

Your excitement and enthusiasm came across as excitement and enthusiasm. There's no need to burst bubbles here.

Good luck in the interviews -- I hope you get the one you want.

And the one he doesn't want, I'll be glad to accept, on his behalf!!!

I'd hate to hear what you say to your wife after she has an orgasm.

Congrats FC! We don't get enough good news these days.

This is what happened. Chazman misinterpreted the above statement. Being a proud Jet Blue man, he read the statement as:

"Now that I have the Fedex, I don't need to worry about that second rate discount airline, but I will listen to their Bullsh1t anyway."

But it was just the normal excitement anyone would have if given such choices.

The JB crew sure is a thin-skinned bunch, aren't they?? .

There is no "choice". There is only one airline to go with and their color is the one closer to the ultraviolet side of the spectrum.

Glad you guys are having fun with this one.

Fly, I hope you heard my congratulations through my comments. A military guy (like myself) needs to tread lightly into this world of interviews and job hunting. Our credentials transfer but many times are treated as the easy road, take your good fortune seriously and be humble in your asking for a good job.

Does your sense of entitlement also transfer?

This is the perfect reason I rarely post on this board. Your not allowed to express your opinion or excitement without being criticized. Flycast was not only excited but passing on interesting info for others. Give him a break!

They are both on the right side of Green(if my 5th grade lessons havn't failed me), so I'm guessing that purple is closer to violet than it is to blue...?
