They've got 15 on order and you're looking at the first delivery. By usual Boeing delivery schedule, they'll get between 1 and 3 more this year.

It's a mighty fine aeroplane. Ours been flying like clockwork since day 1, and have managed to turn quite a few heads in the process. Like hauling 106.3 tons TAS to FRA, keeping in mind that Boeing originally published max payload as 105T, then revised down to 103T.

We've also taken 100.2 tons non-stop HKG-LEJ, which is more than a -400F could ever hope to carry. The fuel-burn, or rather lack thereof, is truly astonishing.

Idle nonsense, I know, but if you "only" load 75 tons of payload, you've still got space for 125 tons of fuel - enough to go flying for around 17 hours with reserves; that's something like HNL-DKR. And, no, a -400F couldn't do that either.

It's the first true long-haul, heavy-lift commercial freighter, and it's truly an amazing piece of kit.
