A kind of interesting thing I found about FTL: I worked for an aerial photography company at KSNA which operated a Cessna 182 which was orange with white and black stripes. I asked my boss about the crazy colored paintjob and if it had been painted by him or if he bought it that way. He mentioned that he bought it that way and the previous owner had the plane registered to reflect his birthday. The plane is N328L. I did some research and this is who I found to have owned the plane.

I think it's a pretty neat thing that while he may not be flying anymore, his personal plane is still soaring in the sky. It is really a shame FTL isn't around.

Fly safe!
