If this is true, it appears that the Easties have a hard time figuring out basic concepts, like Foreign pilots can't ride in US jumpseats, and binding arbitration is just that, binding. Just sayin!!!!

What about pilots screwing other pilots, like say ... PA and WA? Or DPA becoming a reality in the near future? Or a history of landing on a taxiway?

This place is a psychologist's wet dream! Pilots are all GAY!

Bird-
GL said it really well in regards to the Nic- it's dumb and it drags down all of us-

But they are pilots and YOU sound really unprofessional and new using this to go after them until you know without a doubt what the pilots did-

You're trying to discredit the east, but the opposite happens with your post

Nope, childish is stomping off to form a fake union when you don't get your way.

Which has nothing to do with the article you posted.

Absolutely nothing. Get a grip man-

Start here:
Problem 1: judging based on a media article.
Problem 2: judging an entire group based on one crew's actions.
Problem 3: pretending to judge the whole group based on this article when you ACTUALLY judge them for delaying Nic and forming USAPA -

Most of us agree with the actual judgment you make, so please don't undermine by playing games with it- the industry has suffered a lesser bargaining position for years based on what the east has done and holding onto their bk wages- we all know it- so relax and don't give yourself a heart attack over it

Who screwed who in this case? Both sides signed up for binding arbitration, along with the company signing on as well. Nobody screwed anyone there. Then, the agreed upon arbitrator gave an award. Tell me 335 who was screwed? Read the above and just looking at that, give me your answer. As far as Western and Pan Am go, did anyone there agree to binding arbitration in those SLI cases? If not, then that was their fault. That's like going through a DUI case without a lawyer, probably a bad outcome. When you sign up for it, along with the company, then you have to follow through. If not, you are considered a crybaby jackhole.

Wave, he is LIVING it. He has to go YEARS without an upgrade he was legally awarded, which also affects him, everyday. My friend in PHX could hold bus capt via the NIC award in CLT, but because of the ridiculous action by the Easties, he has to wait, while one of his kids starts college next year. So, give Bird a break, Nicolau thought he deserved a certain spot on the SLI, and it was TAKEN from him. He deserves to be mad, as do all of us. This act by the Easties has affected our whole pilot group, you and me included. Can we ever trust another pilot group in any arbitration? Are they crossing their fingers behind their backs? It will be great for all of us when the NIC is finally implemented.

Great GL-
None of which has anything to do with the article

The NIC award will prevail, and you will always be an idiot.

Bye Bye---General Les

I would argue that you are probably the least qualified on this board to accurately predict whether the Nic will be used or not used in the SLI. If your prediction on the outcome is anything like your 'we wont allow anymore 76 seaters' mantra of a few years back, well, we all now how that turned out.

So your friend hired you to post on this board? He can't speak for himself? Gee, I wonder how quickly I'd surpass you in total posts if I post stories about pilots who coulda shoulda woulda...

How exactly has the East affected you at DL? By repetitively posting the same pet argument? Taking away your life by gluing you to the screen displaying this bulletin board?

You got my sympathy. Look up, a heart! Just for you. ;)

I am saying that the same callous disregard for abiding by an arbitrators ruling was evidenced in this crews disregard of jumpseat procedures, with the potential for far worse consequences. The east and their cheerleaders deny that there is a problem. I disagree.

I would imagine if Ted Reed had written this article, the crew would have been portrayed as shrewdly laying a trap for the would-be jumpseater and he fell for it by struggling with a jumpseat (which, however, he later occupied). Score another victory for those valiant flyboys!

Utter embarrassment!
