There were 2 of those MiG 23's sitting in SRQ a couple of weeks ago. The ramp guys said the owners were getting ready to fly them. Anyone know if they ever did?

Does anybody know what the cheapest classic jet cost.

As my buddy with the MiG-17 told me, "I'll give you my MiG. Free. Now what are you going to do with it? You need to hangar it, fuel it, insure it, and maintain it".
It isn't the purchase price, it's the price to have fun in it.
You can spend about the price of a top of the line Lexus and get into a super nice L-29, Iskra, or the like. But it depends on what you want.
