This is the committee that yielded exactly nothing in the form of results. I don't blame ALPA, by the way. I directly blame CT, however. After many concerns were laid out regarding reserve use, and ways to lessen the burden on them, CT interrupted the RQOL committee chair and stated that "we aren't negotiating". With that in mind, I do my job, and exactly no more. CT- you get what you get in your steaming pile of an operation.
I gave up LOOOOONG ago with anything that has to do with productivity at ASA. you do anything even 1 comma outside OM or heaven forbid get a flat tire or traffic, we get occurrence and chief pilot chat. Yet I can sit on a plane that goes out 90 minutes late because it just came back from a charter and needs a security sweep and the security sweep peeps are MIA. Or i sit at an outstation on an originating flight and watch them start boarding 10 minutes after scheduled departure time and there are no consequences for either party mentioned above. you are right CT.. we are not negotiating because i simply don't care.
