I heard one FO called in sick and bragged about how much he was having on a pleasure trip on Facebook.

A lot of pilots enjoy updating their facebook status with the details of every trip they are on and "check in" at every airport they land at, not realizing that they're telling everyone when they're going to be away from home and for how long. Bad idea.. Especially when you have 890 "friends".. Man has the meaning of that word evolved...

Quit telling everyone what you're doing and just live you're life..
 
cannot imagine what (PD) Xjet's cheerleader's page looks like.... *shudder* I've even had a chief pilot try to "friend" me on Facebook... clicked on "do not know this person"
