Mine is on the 16th ... but I cant make it as I will be on the road with my current job for the next 2 months ... If I dont go, can I try again in the summer or will I be black listed forever :( ?

Also, where do I get my FCC RR?

HELP>>>

Can anyone pm me Dawn's phone number, or a number to someone close to her office, I've yet to recieve my email, and my interview is Wednesday, Thanks in advance, and I must say, everyone on these xjt posts seems to be a great, we should have fun!

fcc RR permit-

Go to the FCC.gov website and fill out.. the 605 form, then you will have to do the 159 form and pay 50 dollars...at least that's how I did it...Hope it helps

it will get approved probably the next day, you can call the 1-800# and they will give you your call sign number.....then look up your liscence online and print it up. The actual permit should take about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks to get to you....but it is the government we are talking abolut so you never know!

Someone here, on another post, said not to worry about the "old grid". The "new grid" is much simpler... I dont know that for sure though....

So, you may be doing alot of work for nothing....

FWIW!

My interview date was moved up to the the 5th as well. I originally had the 9th. I guess there is a class date of Feb 16th that needs to be filled. Anyone else on the 5th. PM me if you would like. Maybe we can hangout afterwards and grab a beer are something while we wait for the return trip.:D

THANKS A MILLION!!

Man, I appreciate the TONS of people who emailed me Dawn's #, she'll be getting a call tomorrow! I did find that they already have a flight scheduled for me on the 11th at 6:45am outta Memphis, so I'm not so worried now. I just called CAL and asked, and my name was there. I was beginning to think they forgot about me or something! Does her email that she sends say to bring LOR's, transcripts, driving record, etc.? I have most on hand already, but at the rate things are going, best way to get info around here is...........well............here.

It doesnt say to bring any of that....but I would bet its a good idea to have them. (LOR's, transcripts, driving record, etc.? ) It has instructions on what they want copies of such as your pilot certs. SS card, Drivers license, and it has the flight time grid you have to fill out with it.

I wonder if they will freak out when I tell them I lost my social security card? I do have the paperwork for a replacement, but you know those government people, it's gonna be at least two weeks before I see it. Anyone have this happen to them?

affirmative sewer...no ss card for me, but i did apply. im hoping ill get it before the interview. by the way, the ss ofice visit was a pain in the arse. they were serving 56 and i held number 101. thats what i get for losing the **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** thing in the first place.

Thanks guys. I got a passport so i guess one less thing. Are you guys treating the SIC column the same as dual time on the flight time grid sheet?

Hey, here’s a question:

How much cash have you guys dropped preparing for the interview?

Between the new suit, expedited passport, FCC license...etc, I’m a little afraid to look at my visa bill.
