Well at least you have 1800 hours now......we will talk to you.....LOL

Just kidding bubba......

Just for reference........I was reading through a Continental thread on here that had a guy actually ask if the ATP written was a HARD minimum-----I about fell out my chair

To actually expect to get to a legacy carrier without an ATP in this day and age is sad. It goes to the expectations of the younger crowd. "Hey I got on with XYZ commuter err sorry REGIONAL with 600 hours and no ATP.....why not an LCC or major?!"

Good point. If I not mistaken though, DAL's mins (when they were hiring) were 1200, with 1000 PIC. Not uncommon for a single seat/tactical jet pilot not to reach 1500 by the time he seperates at the end of an 8-9 year commitment. Granted, his experience is different than a 600hr wonder.

Point being, he couldn't hold and ATP and the ink on his Multi certificate is probably still wet.

I seem to remember a bunch of 500 to 800 hours flight instructors getting hired at Co-ex in 99 and 2000.

Also, GayJets is planning to expand I think with a base in San Antonio, so I'm not sure if they're hiring check airmen to get the X-Jet flying or to grow GayJets.
Don't attribute alter e*************************s to gay guys...at least the gay guys get a drink before they get screwed.

One thing is definitely true....they are NOT expanding the Checkairmen for G 0- Jet. Why is anybody's guess.

My point was intended for CIV time only obviously.
