As mentioned in the Cargo thread and elsewhere in the media, Evergreen Airlines is shutting down at months end. A former Evergreen employee I now work with suggested last week this might be coming due to the owner's age, health issues, and refusal to do anything that might inject life into the airline.

Don't know if any of our dispatch board members are affected by this, but best wishes to any who may.
 
There are 4 dispatchers left at EZ. ALL of them will be without a job on the 29th.

I left in 2011 but I stay in contact with people there.
 
4 dispatchers isn't a very big staff. They only have 3 planes left, right?
