With that train of thought are the Air Canada E-175's RJ's? They are paid mainline pay and benefits, and when they replace an Airbus on a route the route is still flown by a mainline pilot. Oddly enough if the Airbus is replaced by a 70 seat CRJ this is no longer the case.
Air Canada pilots are paid by Air Canada. RAH E-170 pilots are paid by Republic, Chataqua what ever they are NOT buy Us Air or United therefor they are a regional.
